Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘A’, ‘AS’ and ‘O’ Level and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) May/June 2020 Examinations Result (Alternative Grading)

The Ministry of Education through the Department of Examinations has released the Brunei-Cambridge (BC) GCE ‘O’ Level and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) May/June 2020 Alternative Grading results with the following details:

1.0     Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘A’ Level Examination

 

There are 12 candidates (or 100%) who achieved least 1 ‘A’ level at the Alternative Grading Results. Those who obtained at least 2 ‘A’ levels were 8 candidates or 66.67%.

 

2.0     Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘AS’ Level Examination

 

Out of 501 ‘AS’ level candidates, 498 candidates or 99.40% successfully obtained at least 1 subject. Candidates who obtained at least 2 ‘AS’ level were 428 or 85.43%.

 

3.0     Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘O’ Level and IGCSE Examinations

 

A total of 536 candidates (excluding those who sat for one or two subjects) who proceeded with the examination through alternative grading methods took between 3 to 7 subjects. 68 candidates took between 5 to 7 subjects and out of this, 34 candidates obtained 5 ‘O’ credit level and above or 50.00%.

 

Students who took the Alternative Grading Examinations can obtain their result slip from their respective schools.

 

Students or eligible members of the public who would like to sit for Brunei-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ / AS / A Level  and IGCSE examinations in October/November 2020, can register as ‘Late Entry’ candidates with additional late entry fee on each subject to be taken.  Registration forms and information can be obtained at the Examination Department and the closing date for the registration of the ‘Late Entry’ is on Thursday, 10 September 2020.

(Penggredan Alternatif)

 

Rabu, 14 Muharram 1442H / 2 September 2020 – Kementerian Pendidikan melalui Jabatan Peperiksaan pada hari ini telah mengeluarkan keputusan Penggredan Alternatif bagi Peperiksaan Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘A’, ‘AS’ dan ‘O’ Level dan International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSEMei / Jun 2020 dengan perincian seperti berikut:

 

1.0     Peperiksaan Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘A’ Level

 

Keputusan Penggredan Alternatif bagi calon-calon ‘A’ Level yang mendapat sekurang-kurangnya 1 ‘A’ level ialah 12 orang atau 100.00%.  Pada keseluruhannya yang memperolehi sekurang-kurangnya 2 ‘A’ level adalah seramai 8 calon atau 66.67%.  

2.0     Peperiksaan Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘AS’ Level

 

Daripada 501 calon ‘AS’ level, sebanyak 498 calon atau 99.40% telah berjaya memperolehi sekurang-kurangnya 1 mata pelajaran. Calon yang memperolehi sekurang-kurangnya 2 ‘AS’ level adalah seramai 428 atau 85.43%.

 

3.0     Peperiksaan Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. ‘O’ Level dan IGCSE

 

Seramai 536 calon (tidak termasuk yang menduduki satu atau dua mata pelajaran) yang meneruskan peperiksaan melalui kaedah penggredan alternatif mengambil antara 3 mata pelajaran hingga 7 mata pelajaran.  Dari segi calon yang mengambil antara 5 mata pelajaran hingga 7 mata pelajaran adalah seramai 68 calon, dan daripada jumlah ini seramai 34 calon memperolehi 5 ‘O’ level kredit dan ke atas atau 50.00%.

 

Sehubungan ini, dimaklumkan kepada penuntut-penuntut yang mengambil penggredan alternatif  tersebut bolehlah mendapatkan keputusan mereka di sekolah masing-masing.

 

Bagi calon-calon yang berhasrat menduduki peperiksaan Brunei-Cambrige GCE ‘O’/AS/A level dan IGCSE bulan Oktober/November ini, bolehlah membuat pendaftaran sebagai calon ‘Late Entry’ dengan dikenakan bayaran Late Entry Fee bagi setiap mata pelajaran yang diambil. Borang dan maklumat pendaftaran boleh diperolehi di Jabatan Peperiksaan dan tarikh tutup bagi pendaftaran ‘Late Entry’ tersebut adalah pada Hari Khamis, 10 September 2020.
